For its 20th anniversary, Imàgo restaurant finally reopens to the public after a complete transformation that has created a new space.
Fusing the dining room with the kitchen, Imàgo renews its offerings, combining tradition, creativity, passion, and hospitality.
Chef Andrea Antonini offers contemporary, refined, and personalized Italian cuisine, perfectly complemented by the attentive and efficient service.
The wine list numbers over 1,500 labels.
Spring-Summer, Autumn-Winter: two menus a year to offer Imàgo’s guests the essence of the local area and seasonal products reworked by Chef Andrea Antonini. Food that speaks of Rome and Italy but also tastes of other lands. A concert of colours, flavours, fragrances and textures for an unforgettable evening: whether you choose your favourite symphony or the rock gig of a lifetime is up to you.
In charge of table service at Imàgo is Marco Amato, mainstay and historical memory of this magical place. His incredible experience, sincere cordiality and disarming smile have clearly inspired the entire floor staff.
Impeccable service is a constant but never invasive presence, resulting in a relaxed and pleasantly unforgettable atmosphere.
Alessio Bricoli is the attentive and well-informed cellar master at the Imàgo restaurant. Endless study, frequent travel and meetings with producers enable him to bring together the world’s best-known names and smaller, niche wineries with some surprises up their sleeve. His liquid heritage currently numbers around 1,500 labels, including some outstanding vertical collections for the more exclusive guests to single specimens that have helped write the history of the world’s wines.
“We never look to the past because it distracts us from the present and our goal is the future,” said Roberto E. Wirth, neatly summing up the approach to life of the Wirth family, long standing owners of the Hotel Hassler, home of the Imàgo restaurant on the sixth floor. Hotel Hassler preserves the memory of a storied building with one of the most beautiful views in the city. Thanks to the vision of a refined and cultured dynasty of hoteliers, it has been able to stay contemporary, catering to the needs of its exclusive international clientele.
Roberto Jr. and Veruschka Wirth, son and daughter of Roberto E. Wirth and the sixth generation of the family, are the new faces at the head of what is undoubtedly an emblem and benchmark for high-end hospitality, and not only in Rome.
